On one of our trips we exchanged into a timeshare in Miami right on the beach. We really enjoyed this gorgeous stretch of sand and crystal clear water, but wanted to explore.
We took with us our long time best friends and their children, then ages 14 and 16. Then headed out early one morning to John Pennekamp State Park on Key Largo.
We taught their children to snorkel and take underwater photos of fish. Right in the park at the snorkel pond. Very safe and very full of neat fish.
We then took the cruise out to the open ocean to snorkel a coral reef.
And here is where it happened.
Just like us, previously, these children fell in love with the ocean and the fish and coral and the world underwater. Mason, our 16 year old, was diving deep and chasing fish for pictures. Becca was in awe of all the amazing colors and differences.
