Ask us New Yorkers why we love living in the city, and we will tell you it’s the electricity and unique vibe that no other place can rival. In the city that never sleeps, there are so many opportunities to experience culture, fine dining, architecture, interesting characters, and the arts. There’s so much to do here in the Big Apple, so I will highlight some of the most popular attractions.
First, experience the magic of Midtown Manhattan. Here you will find the famous Times Square, Broadway shows in the Theatre district, gorgeous Central Park, and Rockefeller Plaza. Plan a trip to the Empire State Building to truly see the vastness of the city. Don’t miss the MoMA (The Museum of Modern Art), the Met (The Metropolitan Museum of Art), Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center.
Hungry? Don’t be afraid to try “street meat” from the street carts, grab a slice of pizza, hit a famous deli, visit Little Italy, or find any cuisine in Hell’s Kitchen on 9thAve.
Take the subway downtown to the Financial District to see the National September 11 Memorial & Museum and newly erected Freedom Tower – an impactful visit to understand how NYC was affected by the events of 9/11. Take a boat to see the iconic Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
I just touched on a few attractions, but the NYC vibe will be sure to captivate and draw you back to this great city to experience even more! Want to hear more? Come back to the RCI Blog this week to read even more about New York City!
