My Trip to Austria

My daughter and I took a ski trip to Austria and stayed in an RCI affiliated resort. It was unbelievable how we could step outside our resort and go up on one gondola that would allow us to ski for hours. We were able to ski between Austrian villages. It was a lot of fun. The resort had a lot of evening activities in which we were able to meet other people staying at the resort. The resort also had a wonderful spa. The spa was a great way to relax after a long day of skiing. We had a memorable time due to staying in such a great resort.

What is HTML? Anyway I am attempting to use the site as a planner and it is too specific. So how do I get an idea of what is available in Aug. 2012 in Austra and Hungry?

Hi Dave, thanks for reading the RCI Blog! Once you get an idea (let's call it "vacation inspiration") from this blog, just head on over to and log in to your account.

If you are an RCI Points subscribing member, click on the "RCI Points Vacations" tab. There are different booking options available to you, so you'll want to use the tool at the top to select your preferred check-in date from the drop-down menu and click "Go". The system will determine for you whether you can book now or will display when to return to the site to book your vacation. RCI Points Standard Reservations cannot be booked until 10 months before the check-in date, but you can search for an RCI Weeks Reservation as early as today.

If you are an RCI Weeks member, click on the "Search for a Vacation" tab. Then, use the Click to Change feature at the top of the search page to specify the type of vacation that appears in your search results. Then you can proceed to enter your search criteria. If the vacation that you want in Austria or Hungary isn't available, you can start an Ongoing Search. As weeks get deposited into the system, they are often matched with open Ongoing Searches.

Hope this helps! If you still have questions, please email us at Thanks again for reading!
