Our family trip to Smugglers' Notch, Vermont was very memorable because the people we met along the way were very helpful and friendly. We went in November (the in- between season, too late for fall foliage and too early for snow skiing) all the town businesses were over accommodating and allowed us privileges. We really enjoyed driving to the notch, visiting the Apple Cider Farm, horseback riding and of course witnessing the first snowfall of the year... which forced the closure of the notch. A much adventuresome time!
