We stayed in the Shenandoah Valley and drove to D.C. everyday. The Valley was beautiful and worth the drive everyday. The first day all four of us entered D.C. for the first time (none of us had been before) we saw the Washington Monument for the first time and we were all "awestruck." We will all remember that day and this vacation!!
