Great Fall Destination #5: Las Vegas

Jennifer B. - RCI Weeks Destination TipsDuring the fall, there’s a lot more to do in Las Vegas than just gamble. The comfortable temperatures make spending time outside very enjoyable, and there’s a lot to do when you leave your resort. If you’re looking for some exercise or just want to take in the scenery, take a trip to one of the many great parks. At Valley-Fire State Park and Red Rock Canyon, you can go for a hike, horseback ride, rock climb or take a leisurely stroll, whatever suits you best. Fall is also a great time of year to visit the magnificent Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Whether you rent a car, go by bus, or take a helicopter ride, these sites are not to be missed. There are many tours available that offer lunch and activities.

Want to do some shopping off the strip? Check out Montelago Village with tons of shops, galleries, restaurants and bars all on fabulous Lake Las Vegas. Fall also brings on some great events like Oktoberfest, the Las Vegas Greek Food Festival, the Las Vegas Renaissance Fair and of course Halloween, a site not to be missed – especially on the Vegas Strip!
