We vacationed this summer in Falmouth on Cape Cod. Four generations of our family made the trip this year. What an experience. The great grandchildren loved the ocean. We spent a lot of time at Woodneck Beach. We were surprised to see starfish on the beach the first time in our many years on the Cape. The men in our family including our 5 year old great grandson went deep-sea fishing. What a great time they had. The best part was they caught fish that we enjoyed for dinner and packaged some for future dinners. Our stay at Briarwood Resort was enjoyable. Our 18 mo. grandson loved the pool activities. We will remember this family trip with joy.

Whenever I tell people I work on Endless Vacation magazine, their typical response is “wow, it must be so fun reading about traveling and great destinations all day.” And the truth is: it is! I can’t help but picture myself sitting on the beach in the Dominican Republic, skiing the fresh powder in Lake Tahoe, walking on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, or taking a zip line in the rain forest in Costa Rica. But I have to admit, every time one of our issues goes to print, I get a little sad that we cannot include all of the amazing photos our photographers take while on photo shoots. And mostly, I am even sadder I am not the photographer taking those pictures!
But, with RCI’s innovation and dedication to being on the cutting edge of technology, I was more than excited to hear I could help bring Endless Vacation magazine to the iPad in its very own app! Working on the Endless Vacation magazine app for the iPad has been fun and rewarding, knowing that we get to show you even more! The Endless Vacation app for the iPad showcases even more photos in each article than in our printed issue. Not only that, we get behind the scenes footage from our photographers and writers and incorporate those videos into the app to really bring the destinations to life. Plus we added some cool extras like panoramic photos, interactive images and maps, audio clips, fun facts, and links to explore more about RCI affiliated resorts – making it even easier to research and book your next vacation with just the tap of a finger.
Just visit the iTunes® App Store and download the latest issue of Endless Vacation magazine onto your iPad. I hope you have as much fun playing with the Endless Vacation app for the iPad as I had working on it. If you find yourself dreaming about catching some rays in St. Maarten, wanting to watch artisans blow glass in Los Cabos, or find the RCI affiliated resort for your next vacation, then we have done our job. Now get playing!

We had a wonderful stay in our RCI unit in Sedona, AZ. We loved the beauty of the region, the access to Ancient Native American dwellings and Volcano National Park in Flagstaff which was an hour away. We explored the region by jeep and took a hot air balloon ride over the region. This is one of the most beautiful areas I have ever visited and one I want to return to often. The restaurants were great and the shops offered many opportunities for shopping. A highlight was a day trip to the Grand Canyon. What a wonderful vacation location and a wonderful RCI affiliated resort with wonderful facilities.

Staying at Sedona Pines Resort was one of the best vacations we have ever taken. There is so much to see and do there. The resort offered everything we needed and the employees were friendly and helpful. We took a tour to the Vortex and felt the energy. The trip to the Grand Canyon was unbelievable. We also visited the nearby copper mines and admired the breathtaking red rock views. A week was just too short to do all we wanted to do - so many excellent restaurants. We can't wait to go back.

Our trip to Branson was once again a great time had by all. There is so much to do and see there. My husband's whole family met in Branson and we had 2 -3 bedroom condos and they were very nice and close to everything we did. We stayed at the Surry Vacation Resort - Carriage Place. It had an elevator - which was nice as we had one in a wheelchair. This is our 4th time in Branson - and 2nd time for an all family reunion there. We will definitely be going back soon.

Did we ever luck out on our first trip to Branson. We had not used RCI before, and did not know which resort to choose, but since my husband loves to play golf we chose Stonebridge, and it was in the fall and what a beautiful unit we got. The trees were changing colors and sitting on the balcony and looking out at the view was magnificent. The club house offered a wine and cheese tasting party one night and a dinner dance another night, and the food was excellent.
We really had a good time and have gone back to Branson at least once a year since our first trip. The entertainment in Branson is very enjoyable, and Branson has become one of our favorite vacation spots. Whether you are into golf, boating, partying, or just relaxing, Branson has something for everyone.

During the fall, there’s a lot more to do in Las Vegas than just gamble. The comfortable temperatures make spending time outside very enjoyable, and there’s a lot to do when you leave your resort. If you’re looking for some exercise or just want to take in the scenery, take a trip to one of the many great parks. At Valley-Fire State Park and Red Rock Canyon, you can go for a hike, horseback ride, rock climb or take a leisurely stroll, whatever suits you best. Fall is also a great time of year to visit the magnificent Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Whether you rent a car, go by bus, or take a helicopter ride, these sites are not to be missed. There are many tours available that offer lunch and activities.
Want to do some shopping off the strip? Check out Montelago Village with tons of shops, galleries, restaurants and bars all on fabulous Lake Las Vegas. Fall also brings on some great events like Oktoberfest, the Las Vegas Greek Food Festival, the Las Vegas Renaissance Fair and of course Halloween, a site not to be missed – especially on the Vegas Strip!

The Shenandoah Valley is a true gem any time of year, but the fall offers some amazing experiences you don’t want to miss.
Take a trip to one of the great festivals happening throughout the fall like the Fall Festival at Massanutten Resort, the Shenandoah County Fair or the Chesapeake Bay Wine & Harvest Festival, where you can enjoy live music, specialty foods, wine tastings, arts and crafts, petting zoos for the kids and much more! Spend the day exploring the corn mazes in Patrick County or take in the fresh air and enjoy the magnificent changing leaves at the Fall Foliage Bike Festival. Don’t feel like biking? No problem. Just take a drive and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Mother Nature, or, book a wine country tour and sit back and relax while you take in the sites and tastes of the region.
Planning a trip in October? Make sure to check out the Oktoberfest celebrations in Shenandoah County or take part in some of the Halloween fun, many of the county’s towns host haunted houses, mask making, pumpkin carving, scarecrow building, trick-or-treating events and much more.
There’s so much to see and do in the fall in Shenandoah Valley. Why not check it out for yourself? Just go to RCI.com and search for all the great fall vacations in Shenandoah Valley. We have visited many nice RCI affiliated resorts, but the most beautiful has been the Acapulco Mayan Palace. This is a wonderful resort for just relaxing around the gorgeous pools, walking on the beach, enjoying the wonderful gardens, etc. Favorite memories include a great dinner show at the resort one night, exercise classes around the reflecting pools, touring Old Acapulco, and watching the daring cliff divers of La Quebrada. We visited before the "water park" features were built, and they look like a lot of fun for families, but we had a wonderful time with the facilities there when we visited. We had a 1 BR suite for just the 2 of us, so we had lots of room. This is one of the first international trips we ever made, and it was a nice introduction to vacation possibilities beyond the continental US.

I have wanted to visit Cozumel for years, but other family activities and vacations were always planned. So, for my big 55th birthday I finally had the chance to go. My husband and I exchanged a week and stayed at the beautiful Park Royal Resort. We had the most fantastic time. The water was bluer than any blue I have ever seen.
The people were friendly and helpful. We felt very safe and enjoyed the abundance of activities in Cozumel. We swam with the dolphins, enjoyed the view and sunset at Puna Sur beach, snorkeled from the Fury Catamaran, and the dinner cruise on the Jean Lafitte pirate ship was fantastic. We cannot wait to return to Cozumel, so we have already exchanged another week for next year.

I’ve been on many vacations, but I have to say that going to Mexico was probably one of the most memorable. Four years ago, I traveled to San Jose del Cabo with 11 friends and stayed at Solaris Cabo, a wonderful all-inclusive resort.
I’ll never forget walking on the beach at sunset, enjoying the authentic Mexican and Italian restaurants at the resort, and shopping in the quaint town of San Jose del Cabo. I even went on a snorkeling excursion that took us out to El Arco de Cabo San Lucas, an amazing rock formation you may know better as “the Arch.”
We’ve heard from many members who have traveled to San Jose del Cabo, as well as many members who have been to other places in Mexico, like Cancun, Puerto Vallarta or Cozumel. This week on the blog, we’ll be sharing stories and photos from these members. Be sure to check back! And if you have a story or photo of your own about a Mexico vacation, share it here!

My husband and I decided we wanted to travel to Europe. The only problem was we wanted to travel during the summer, with only 2 weeks notice. We called RCI to find out if anything was available. We found out that there had just been a cancellation for a resort in Madeira. We didn't even know where Madeira was, but the agent assured us it was a nice resort. "Nice" doesn't even describe how amazing the place was that we stayed in. We stayed in a two bedroom unit that was overlooking the ocean. We never could have afforded to stay there without our RCI exchange. Madeira was an absolutely beautiful place that we never would have visited if it wasn't for RCI. We still tell people about the amazing vacation that we had. Thank you RCI for helping us make our vacation dreams come true.

We stayed at Christmas Mountain Village in Wisconsin Dells in July. It was a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing resort. We had one of the villas right on the golf course. The unit has a screened porch on the back where we had our morning coffee and breakfast, as well as our evening drinks before heading out to dinner. Every now and then a group of golfers would pass by, but it felt very private.
Wisconsin Dells is a great family destination. There are plentiful water parks, mini-golf, and boat tours to view the Dells. We did all of the above! The Noah's Ark water park was simply marvelous for our all-adult group. We were the biggest kids in the park!
There area also many nearby horse stables, where the ladies in the group booked some trail rides, which we highly recommend.
We were so happy to have found Christmas Mountain Village, and would definitely return.

We had a wonderful summer vacation at the Disney Saratoga Springs Resort. Not only was the resort one of the best that we ever exchanged for but our two daughters age 19 and 14 realized how wonderful our RCI affiliated timeshare really is. They talked about how when they are married they want to vacation together and use our timeshare as a way to build onto their great vacation memories. It was so nice to hear that not only do they look forward to our vacations together but also that they see the worth of our timeshare and how they want the same experience for their families in the future.

My husband and I had the perfect summer vacation in the Shenandoah mountains. The weather was sunny, breezy and perfect for everything outdoors. We took the chairlift ride up the mountain, hiked down, canoed down the Shenandoah one morning, took two wine tours at nearby vineyards and acted like kids one day at the water park. We attended the Beer Lover's Dinner one night at the resort and it was absolutely outstanding. We learned so much about beer! All in all, we created so many memories. It was wonderful!

We bought a timeshare in South Africa a few years ago for a great price. We use our timeshare to exchange through RCI and go to FL on spring break every year. We've always stayed at great resorts and never had any problems. The RCI online exchange is a great tool to search for your vacation and the information RCI sends to you is very helpful with detailed information on the resort. Once our kids are out of school, we look forward to many vacations at various times of the year to exchange our timeshare through RCI.

My husband is a hard working guy. He works 40 hours a week on his regular job and for the last two years he has worked all his free time on building a handicap accessible home for me. He works on this house every night for 4 hours and all weekend too. I have multiple sclerosis and have a hard time climbing stairs so my husband decided to build me a new home all on one floor. Last February I surprised him with a trip to Virginia beach to visit our grandchildren. He really needed a break and he so deserved it. I am planning another trip next April, hopefully by then the new house will be done and we will be moved in. I know we will all be ready for a vacation. We have always been happy with RCI affiliated resorts in Virginia beach area and going in the spring is always a real bargain as well. We enjoy the facilities along with our grandchildren.

Thanks to RCI, our family had a wonderful Spring Break vacation in historic Williamsburg, VA. Our accommodations were top notch, complete with swimming, miniature golf, and an on-site restaurant. What made this trip especially important was that it was our son's 5th birthday. So, we had the chance to take him to Busch Gardens to ride on all the great rides and EAT yummy food too. We also visited a local neighborhood bounce house that we probably never would have found if we weren't staying at our resort location. He had an incredible time there as well. To top it off, we spent some time touring historic Williamsburg and Jamestown settlement. It was a timely visit because our older daughter was studying colonial times in social studies. My final comment will be that we discovered one of my all time favorite Chinese buffets, also a local gem. Well, there was a great seafood restaurant too! All in all, it was an awesome trip.

One of our more memorable family trips was to Williamsburg with a timeshare exchange to the Kings Plantation resort. The units and resort amenities were perfect for a young active family. The children enjoyed the pool and mom took advantage of Fitness and Spa-type services.
It was easy driving to the great historical sites to visit nearby. We went back in time at Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown. Came back to modern days for great fun and amusement at Cypress Gardens. A short drive to the coast and we were set for another grand beach day for a family reunion. That summer vacation is in our book as one of the top favorites. We'd love to go back again.
