A Magical Place for All Ages

Lynette K. - Stories from an RCI Vacation Guide

Sometimes we wish that we could be kids again, at least I know I do.  There is one place I know of where people young and old can feel like a kid again.  It’s a place filled with princesses, princes and pirates and every time you leave with your very own “happily ever after.”

I’ve been to Walt Disney World several times but my favorite time of the year to visit is in October because the weather is beautiful, the lines aren’t long, and all of the parks are decorated for Halloween. Our favorite park is the Magic Kingdom which has several different lands, each with their own theme… From It’s A Small World (Fantasyland) to the Pirates of the Caribbean (Adventureland) to the parade down Main Street, U.S.A …no trip to the Magic Kingdom is complete without the amazingly breathtaking fireworks that take place over the Castle. If you have the time you can even get a “makeover” to look like a princess or pirate for the day to complete your magical adventure.

Each time I visit Walt Disney World I feel like a princess again. I will never forget my first time seeing the Castle, hugging Mickey and watching the fireworks.  I remember the laughs and screams of my family while riding the rides…These are some of the best memories I have… and I can’t wait to take my niece and nephew someday and share the magical memories of Disney with them.

This week on the RCI Blog, we’ll be sharing the stories and photos of RCI subscribing members who have experienced the magic of Walt Disney World. Be sure to check back. And if you have a story or photo of your own, please submit it here. Maybe we will share it right here on the RCI Blog at the end of the week!
