As an active duty Army family, we moved 12 times in 15 years and spent almost every summer relocating to a new state. We used our first RCI exchange during the summer of 2003 when we moved from PA to NC. Upon entering the condo, we were overwhelmed with the size and amenities. Our family week together helped ease the transition of yet another stressful move. Thank you RCI.

Wonderful resort in Cancun, Mexico between old Cancun and the busy strip, perfect location. Condo was very large with balcony. Entertainment every evening if you wish to participate. Resort units are being updated to a high standard. We would highly recommend this area and resort. We had a fabulous time there.

Going to France was a life long desire. RCI made it really happen for me. I could not afford the hotel bill for a weeks stay in Paris but with the assistance of RCI I was able to secure a wonderful Condo unit 10 minutes from Paris and all of the sites that I could only read about or see in TV. What a delight to have had this opportunity and I owe it all to being a subscribing member in RCI. I have been able to travel to many places over the 24 years of being associated with this wonderful vacation exchange experience.

We were fortunate enough to visit Hilton Head for the first time through our timeshare using RCI. Our trip was fabulous. The condo was very spacious and had more than what we needed to have an enjoyable week. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the pools. The beach was fantastic and we spent a lot of time riding our bikes along the miles of trails on the island. Thank you for making it possible to experience a wonderful vacation. We look forward to many more!

We flew into Phoenix and drove to Sedona. When we came over a mountain pass of high desert country and entered the valley toward Oak Creek Village, we were awestruck by the sudden appearance of dark red rock formations. The stark contrast to high desert scenery we had just passed was amazing. Bell Rock seemed to stand right before us. The wonders continued as we drove to Sedona. Our condo was in uptown near Oak Creek. We woke to the beauty each morning. We explored cave paintings, cliff dwellings, and the wondrous scenery so abundant in the very special place. Arroyo Roble Resort was wonderful.

Wanting to take a great winter vacation, my husband and I invited a couple to go with us to Sedona, Arizona. It was February and we found the weather to be great jacket weather. It was warm enough to golf and reasonably priced golf courses were found. Our condo exchange was the most beautiful we ever had and had a small lock-out unit attached which was wonderful for two couples. The scenery was beautiful and we really enjoyed the vacation.

Our trip to Branson was once again a great time had by all. There is so much to do and see there. My husband's whole family met in Branson and we had 2 -3 bedroom condos and they were very nice and close to everything we did. We stayed at the Surry Vacation Resort - Carriage Place. It had an elevator - which was nice as we had one in a wheelchair. This is our 4th time in Branson - and 2nd time for an all family reunion there. We will definitely be going back soon.

We loved staying at Rock Lane Resort-Branson Yacht Club in Branson, Missouri! The lake is just beautiful and we had an awesome view of the lake from our condo. So much to do and see in the area. We went to Island Fire, Ripley's, StoneHill Winery, the Duck Tour, The Hatchery, rented a pontoon boat, even took a road trip for a day to St Louis to see the Cardinals play and visit the Arch. Loved it!!!- Jennie G. from Rayne, LA

When we first bought our timeshare, like most people, I was a little skeptical. After trading in our week with RCI we started looking for options for our first timeshare exchange vacation. My wife and I settled on a trip to Virginia to see colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Washington D.C. Our exchange went through and a few months later we were headed up on our first "timeshare" vacation. We were still a little hesitant and doubtful about the whole thing. Would this place be a total dump? Had we been taken for a ride? Was the whole timeshare thing a big sham?
All of our questions and doubts were answered when we checked in to our condo at Powhatan Plantation. When we walked into our unit we were pleasantly surprised. This was a million times better than staying in a hotel. We had 2 bedrooms, a hot tub, a living room, kitchen, etc. We had an amazing week of fun and relaxation, and most importantly, time together. We have been huge fans of our timeshare ever since and have enjoyed 13 years of amazing vacations since!

One year my husband and I decided we wanted to go to the beach in California or Florida. When I called the RCI rep....She said if you want to go to the beach where the Europeans go why don't you try the Canary Islands. I wasn't even sure where the Canary Islands was located but she made it sound so beautiful I said sign us up.
This turned out to be one of the best vacations my husband and I have ever been on. We stayed in a 2 bedroom at the Hollywood Mirage. I invited my mom and 2 of her friends. Since they are senior citizens we said they could stay for free. When they walked into that condo, all 3 of them pulled out $150-200 each and gave it to me and my husband. They said the place was so beautiful and comfortable that they wanted to share in the expense. We have been trying to get back to the Canary Islands but the airfare is the only thing that has kept us from going back.
Thanks to the RCI rep that recommended the Canary Islands. It was a trip of a lifetime. I highly recommend the Hollywood Mirage, each section is named after one of the old Movie Stars. We stayed in the Clark Gable section. There was nightly entertainment. We danced, had very good meals and met so many friendly Europeans. We went to the beach everyday and the scenery is just as pretty as Hawaii.
All I can say is "WOW!" Thank you RCI.

Celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary we decided to take a trip Puerto Vallarta. Even though we had a child in college and one entering soon, we couldn't pass up the deal RCI got for us on a condo and airfare. We stayed at the now Mayan Palace Marina. After shopping in town we headed for the pool bar. The staff found out about our anniversary and treated us like royalty. We spent the day cooling off at the pool bar learning how to say "A strawberry margarita with lot of ice" in Spanish. It did take us many hours to learn this. Then at night they had a fiesta on the property and again they called us up on stage for all the games.
I still call it my favorite day and I can remember everything so well even now as we are headed back in October again to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. Our kids are now grown with kids of their own and also come with us to the Mayan Palace which we consider our second home. We can only hope to have many more celebrations at the Mayan Palace for our anniversary in years to come. Thanks RCI for getting us to go that first time.

We stayed in a wonderful condo on the beach in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia. For less than our annual points we had enough room for 6 people and included all the stay-at-home amenities! The resort was awesome - Tiki Village International. Thanks RCI for providing a great resort for us to enjoy on our trip.

We used our week for the Grandview resort in Las Vegas, NV for the first time. We were greeted immediately at the reception area and were checked in at the VIP desk. We had a beautiful two room suite and it felt more like home than a boring hotel room. We gambled a little, took in the local scenery, ate in the condo fairly often and all in all had a great, restful time. Probably the most fun we've had for quite awhile!

Our trip began with the expectations of skiing in Vermont and enjoying a wonderful New England ski vacation. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and we were only able to ski for about an hour as there was no snow and Smugglers Notch couldn't make snow faster than the weather was melting it. But this didn't ruin the trip. The resort had other activities that we could utilize and the area was fascinating to explore. We were able to visit the Ben & Jerry's factory and the Vermont Teddy Bear factory. If we'd been skiing we would have missed these great spots. The night time events at Smugglers Notch resort were family oriented and fun to watch. As we'd never been to this part of the country we were able to explore more and even visited an alpaca farm. Beautiful country that we could imagine returning to to actually ski at a future date.
The condo amenities were wonderful, beyond our dreams. Our condo was right across from one of the ski runs and would have made it very nice to walk out the door and jump on a lift and ski down the mountain. The fireplace in the condo was used every night. This was a fabulous trip and we hope to return someday to actually ski.

Growing up it was a family tradition to go on a ski vacation to Killington/Pico, Vermont each winter. Sometimes it was just our family but more often than not, we would have 2-3 condos full of people. We’d drive up in a caravan of cars loaded with downhill and cross country skis, poles, boots, snowboards, snowshoes, ice skates, you name it, it’s in one of the vehicles.
My favorite part of those vacations was just getting away from our daily lives and to spend time with family and friends – whether it was racing down the mountain, lunch at the peak, après-ski at the base, hitting the hot tub, big group dinners, or sitting in front of the fireplace recounting our adventures on the hill and making plans for the next day. I have the best memories from our family ski trips and I will cherish them forever.
It’s exciting to hear from members about the memories they have made while on vacation. This week, we will post stories and photos from subscribing members who have traveled to Vermont and other New England states in the winter. Be sure to come back!

We wanted to get away to Florida for several weeks during the winter, as did our friends. We were lucky enough to book 2 consecutive weeks at the same resort (one week with our points and one week with our friend's points) through RCI. Because we could do this and share a 2-bedroom condo, we got away from the Pennsylvania winter for 2 weeks during January.
